onions in the Rajya Sabha, commercial tax minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said the Centre would study the possibility of lifting export ban on KP onions.

KP onions are cultivated over 5,000 acres in and around Kadapa and Prakasam districts. The variety is grown for export to Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
