Microvascular surgery workshop

Visakhapatnam: The department of oral and maxillofacial surgery in GITAM Dental College and Hospital Visakhapatnam conducted a hands-on microvascular workshop on Sunday. Head of the department of reconstructive surgery and oncology at Saveetha Dental College Chennai Dr Senthil Murugan was the chief surgeon and guest faculty. A marathon live surgical demonstration of lower jaw reconstruction with bone of the leg was done at GIMSR. GITAM Dental College and Hospital principal Dr D Sitarama Raju and department of oral surgery head Dr N Satya Bhushan felicitated the guest during the closing ceremony. tnn
