Meet on better public services at Vizag college

VISAKHAPATNAM: An interactive meeting on improving public services through new public management was organised by Youth for Better India (YBI) and Yes We Can organisation at Prism College here on Wednesday.

British deputy high commissioner for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Andrew Fleming, and former bureaucrat Jayaprakash Narayan shared perspectives from the UK and India on new public management.

Andrew Fleming said the transformation in public services has been extensive and recalled the challenges faced by people in communication, transport and other government services a few years ago.
