Visakhapatnam opened the innings with Maheep Kumar and followed it up with an unbeaten ton, 108. Andhra fought back to save their CK Nayudu Trophy match against Chhattisgarh at the Sector X Cricket Stadium Bhilai on Tuesday, with Chhattisgarh only managing to score 446 runs in 704 overs. Vamsi Krishna scored 85 runs, Um Tiwari 327 runs, and K Maheep Kumar 108 not out. Vamsi Krishna also took 38 wickets, while Visakhapatnam's Vamsi Kumar took 1632 wickets in 56 overs. Guntur and Kakinada districts won three gold medals each in the state-level league phase II in gymnastics organized by the DSA.
