Jana Sena calls for withdrawal of sewerage tax

Visakhapatnam: GVMC Jana Sena corporator P Murthy Yadav demanded the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation withdraw the sewerage taxes being imposed on the public. He, along with several Jana Sena leaders, conducted a protest at Mahatma Gandhi statue near the GVMC office on Monday.
“YSRC corporators should also join our fight. Covid-19 has severely affected the finances and employment opportunities of the public.Instead of reducing taxes, the GVMC is imposing this underground drainage tax on the public at this juncture,” said Murthy Yadav. TNN
