Visakhapatnam: An international workshop on Integrated Systems Health Management will be held at the Visakhapatnam campus of Vignan Institute of Information Technology in collaboration with NASA and various Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). The objective of the science gathering that will be conducted on May 27 and 28 is to create an environment for growth in aviation, communication, ports, electricity production and distribution, railways, defence and various energy sectors.

Members of the advisory committee to the meet such as Dr Kota Harinarayana, former vice-chancellor of Hyderabad Central University, and Dr V Upendranath, senior scientist from National Aero Space Laboratories, said various experts from IISC, NASA and other international universities will deliberate at the gathering.

The meet would help set the trend for promoting integrated systems management in India on a much larger scale and also help countries gain proper entry in cross field research.
