Visakhapatnam: Bala Vikas Foundation for Peace and Harmony (a member group of International Association for Religious Freedom) and IARF Vizag organised a special meeting to mark World Human Rights Day at SVVP VMC Degree and PG Courses on Saturday. The programme was held to sensitise the degree and PG students about human rights and their role in the protection of human rights. IARF international council member Narava Prakasa Rao presided over the meeting and said that youth must be alert on various issues and behave responsibly to safeguard their rights. Acharya Nagarjuna University former VC A Rajendra Prasad was the chief guest. He called upon the students to work towards safeguarding human rights. tnn
