Haemophilia project launched

VISAKHAPATNAM: Bharat Heavy Electricals limited launched its fourth phase of ‘Heal A Soul’ project on Monday. About 19.3 lakh worth of anti-haemophilic factor will be distributed to 39 beneficiaries in Visakhapatnam out of the total 79 lakh that has been allotted for phase-4 project.

The ‘Heal A Soul’ project was started in 2011 and more than 1,250 patients have benefited from this project till date. BHEL additional GM Kumar Gupta, Haemophilia Federation India executive committee member KVS Prasad, Haemophilia Society Visakhapatnam chapter president Dr V Chandrasekharam and vice-president Dr A Subramaneyswara Rao were present.
