‘GVMC employees’ salaries getting delayed since April due to 010 accounts’

Visakhapatnam: According to GVMC trade union leader VV Ramana Rao, employees and pensioners of GVMC are confused over the exact date of release of their salaries. Speaking to the media in the city on Tuesday, Rao said that salaries have been getting delayed since April, after the state government decided to pay wages of GVMC employees through ‘010’ accounts.“The lack of coordination between GVMC and treasury officials have led to this situation,” Rao said. tnn
