Free breast cancer detection camp in Visakhapatnam from October 25

VISAKHAPATNAM: On the occasion of breast cancer awareness month,

Gitam Institute of Medical Sciences and Research

(GIMSR) hospital general surgery department will organise a

free breast cancer detection camp

between October 25 and 30.


Hospital superintendent Dr Dwarakanadh said that as part of the free detection camp, the experts will carry out a clinical examination, an FNA, an ultrasound scan of breast, etc.

The free detection camp will be conducted from 9 am to 4 pm on these days.
