Four government pleaders to help advocate general in HC

Vijayawada: The state government recruited four legal officers to assist the

advocate

general at the

high court

of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.

While senior high court advocate Kasa Jaganmohan Reddy was appointed as special government pleader, Thatiparthi Balaswamy, Y N Vivekananda and Sumon Chintala were appointed as government

pleaders

. They would all assist advocate general S Sriram in the high court at Amaravati.

The tenure of all four legal officers will be three years and the service conditions will be according to GO Ms No. 187 of December 6, 2000.

On the other hand, the state government accepted the resignations of Posani Venkateswarlu who worked as public prosecutor for state of Andhra Pradesh in the previous regime and that of R Chandra Reddy, who worked as additional public prosecutor. Both the advocates tendered their resignations after the election results were out.
