Four convicted for cheating bank in Visakhapatnam

G Anupama Chakravarthy, principal special judge for CBI cases, Vizag, on Tuesday convicted four persons including two bank employees and sentenced them to four years of simple imprisonment after being convicted of cheating a bank. The judge also imposed fine on them.

VISAKHAPATNAM: G Anupama Chakravarthy, principal special judge for CBI cases, Vizag, on Tuesday convicted four persons including two bank employees and sentenced them to four years of simple imprisonment after being convicted of cheating a bank. The judge also imposed fine on them. Those convicted are YV Narayana Rao, former branch manager of State Bank of Hyderabad, Arundalpet branch, P Chandra Mohan, MD of Sri Ramachandra Road Links in Hyderabad, B Abraham Lincon, former employee of Andhra Bank, Hindu College extension in Guntur, and Devadas V Ambare, chairman of Sri Dhanalakshmi Primary (Agri) Co-operative Bank, a non-existent bank.
