Foundation stone laid for establishing international Gurukul school in Tirupati district

TIRUPATI: An international school belonging to the Swami Narayan order is coming up near the temple city of Tirupati.

This is in tune with the assurance given early this year by the trust to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to establish international Gurukul schools in Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Pulivendula.

Sri Swami Narayan Gurukul trust’s international head Mahant Sadhu Devprasad Das participated in the ‘Bhumi Puja’ performed for the same at Vikruthamala village in Yerpedu mandal of Srikalahasti constituency on Thursday.

The school campus, endowed with hostels, indoor stadium and an outdoor playground, dining hall, digital library, computer lab, maths lab, activities room, art & craft room and an open air theatre, will offer education from kindergarten to intermediate (XII class).

Srikalahasti legislator Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy called it a privilege to have the prestigious institution in his constituency and thanked Jagan for the initiative.

Sadhu Shukla Vallabh Das and Sadhu Nitya Swaroop Das, monks of the Swami Narayan order, also participated.
