City shutterbugs observe World Photography Day

Shutterbugs

in the city observed World Photography Day on Monday by showcasing their photographs in a number of exhibitions being held across Vizag.

One such exhibition was organised by Vizag Photo Journalists’ Association (VPJA) at Visakha Museum. The exhibition was inaugurated by district collector V Vinay Chand and GVMC commissioner G Srijana. Several

photography

enthusiasts paid a visit to the exhibition.

Nearly 250 photographs on various themes ranging from tourism, festivals, the environment and civic problems were put on display.

Another association of professional photographers and videographers organised an exhibition at Andhra University’s YVS Murthy stadium to observe World Photography Day.

Students too showcased their photography skills at an exhibition organised by Sri Prakash children’s photography club at Kapuluppada.

The exhibition showed photographs taken by students under the heads of ‘Vizag selfie’, ‘Vizag mornings’, ‘black-and-white Vizag’ and on the spot photography.
