City girl to represent India in talent contest

Visakhapatnam: 6-year-old girl from the city, L Dhruvika Aaryana has been selected to represent India at Little Miss Galaxy— an international-level talent show to be held in Bulgaria from March 26 to April 2.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhruvika, a student of Ralla Bella School said, “I feel blessed to represent my motherland at an international platform.This is an amazing opportunity for me to meet my peer group from around the globe.”
Dhruvika’s mother Shimpy Kumari said, “We (the parents) ensure that she balances her academics and her extra-curricular activities. While she attends dance classes regularly, she spends her weekends by participating in science workshops, storytelling sessions and other competitions.”
Previously, Dhruvika had won the ‘Best Talent’ award for her dance performance in ‘Smart Kid Andhra Pradesh’— a state-level contest for school students.
