Ayyanna's son, Rajesh, filed a petition against the then-RDO, Ronanki Govinda Rao, Additional SP Vn Manikantha Narsipatnam Municipal Commissioner Kanaka Rao, Executive Engineer Mallikharjuna Rao, and Tahsildar Jaya and a few others as respondents. Ayyanna said that officials demolished the wall without any prior notice and that they would not spare the officials. Rajesh's advocate, Eswara Rao, alleged that government employees have become part of the conspiracy due to pressure from persons in power. He said that officials informed the High Court that Ayyannas family refused to receive the notice on June 1 but was in Tirupati that day they returned on June 3. The advocate alleged that officials pasted the notice an hour before the demolition on June 19 which is illegal.
