VISAKHAPATNAM: The son of former minister Ayyanna Patrudu of TDP filed a private plaint in Narsipatnam court against 14 officials alleging that they are the main persons behind the demolition of the boundary wall of his house in Narsipatnam.

Officials demolished the boundary wall of a house, which is in the name of Ayyanna’s sons, on June 19 last year. Ayyanna’s son Rajesh filed a petition against the then-RDO Ronanki Govinda Rao, additional SP VN Manikantha, Narsipatnam municipal commissioner Kanaka Rao, executive engineer Mallikharjuna Rao and tahsildar Jaya and a few others as respondents.

Ayyanna said that officials demolished the wall without any prior notice. “The officials demolished the wall on somebody’s instructions. We will not spare the officials,” he said.

Rajesh’s advocate Eswara Rao said that government employees have become part of the conspiracy due to pressure from persons in power. “Officials informed the high court that Ayyanna's family refused to receive the notice on June 1, but was in Tirupati that day. They returned on June 3,” he said. The advocate alleged that officials pasted the notice an hour before the demolition on June 19, which is illegal.
