Andhra University management graduates bag jobs at campus placement

VISAKHAPATNAM: As many as 52 students of Andhra University from the department of

commerce

and

management

studies bagged campus placements conducted by various private organisations on Wednesday.

vice-chancellor Prof Nageswara Rao congratulated the students and explained how the varsity has been honing their skills through various skill development initiatives to match the needs of the industries.

“I want to thank the organisations for picking the university students,” said Prof Rao.

Earlier, ITC Limited, Guntur visited AU College of Science and Technology. A total of 30 students from MSc organic chemistry, MS organic and analytical chemistry and other departments took the written test. A total of 16 were shortlisted for the technical and HR rounds.

The ITC team said the list of selected candidates will be released next week. The team included Dr KS Murthy, head, analytical services and Sunil Kumar, HR manager. The team also met the vice-chancellor. Rector Prof M Prasada Rao, registrar Prof K Niranjan, principal Prof K Rama Mohana Rao, head of the department of commerce and management studies Prof Satyanarayana and others were present.
