AP tourist body inks MoU with Vietnam

Visakhapatnam: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Tours and Travels Association of Andhra Pradesh (TTAA), the Network of Indian Mice (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences/Conventions, Exhibitons) Agents (NIMA) and the Danang Travel Association (DTA) in

Vietnam

to promote tourism in both countries.

While TTAA and NIMA were represented by K Vijay Mohan, Danang Travel Association was represented by Cao Tri Dung. The MoU has been signed to increase cooperation between Mice agents, TTAA and DTA, and to develop the Mice market in India and Vietnam for the promotion of tourism in both countries.

Speaking to TOI, president of TTAA, K Vijay Mohan, said, “The TTAA shall promote Danang from India for Nice and the Danang Travel Association shall promote AP and the Buddhist packages in our state and India. We are also entering into an agreement with the Danang tourism board to showcase AP in exhibitions etc, and we shall promote Danang as a destination.” tnn
