VISAKHAPATNAM: AP Nirudyoga (unemployed) JAC president Samayam Hemanth Kumar requested the state governor to intervene and provide justice to all government job aspirants given the high court judgment over Group I, 2018 exams.

It is recalled that 167 candidates were selected for Group I jobs in 2018. He urged the governor through a letter by requesting him to consider all the selected candidates for the super numeracy posts. He requested the governor to 89 posts in 2024 and 167 posts in 2018 should be joined and fill the posts through 2024 notification without age limitation.

He urged all candidates who applied in 2018 for the new notification and also provided a direct mains exam chance to the 202 candidates who have lost eligibility due to digital evaluation. The Group I test to be conducted on March 17 should be postponed to four months. A special committee should be formed to address this issue otherwise legal issues may arise.

Hemanth Kumar said that there is a case pending in the Supreme Court to cancel the prelims of 2018. He provided an example that the Group I prelims exam of 2011 was canceled after the judgment of the Supreme Court as six errors were in the exam.
