VISAKHAPATNAM: The officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) reportedly unearthed disproportionate assets worth crores of rupees belonging to tribal welfare wing executive engineer K Nagesh Kumar during searches conducted on Saturday.
ACB cops said searches started in the morning and were continuing at five places late in the night.
Raids
will continue on Sunday as well as ACB sleuths reportedly found various documents pertaining to crores of rupees worth properties.

at Paderu and also his residence in Balayya Sastry Layout in the Seethammadhara area in Vizag. Simultaneous raids were held at his mother-in-law’
s house
at TPT colony, his brother’s house at Steel Plant, and at the houses of other family members.
Kumar joined the department in 1985 and came to ITDA Paderu on promotion from Parvathipuram ITDA a couple of years ago. ACB in charge DSP

told TOI that they have not assessed the properties of the engineer as the searches are continuing. He said disproportionate assets were noticed during the raids.
ACB cops would also verify his bank accounts and also open the locker, sources said. Inspectors

Lakshmana Murthy
are leading the raids at various places.
As per the preliminary information, Katreddi Venkata Satya Nagesh Kumar and his family members are in possession of two houses, nine house sites, 6.5 acres of agricultural land, and other movable assets.
