Andhra Pradesh: 2,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered at Vizag Railway Hospital

VISAKHAPATNAM: The city-based Waltair division of East Coast Railway in Andhra Pradesh has administered nearly 2500 Covid19 vaccine doses to its staff at the railway divisional hospital till Saturday.
The jabs were taken by front-line staff like health care personnel, security personnel, loco pilots, guards and retired employees.
From April 1 on wards, the employees above 45 years of age were being vaccinated.Special arrangements with appropriate Covid-19 health precautions were made to tackle the anticipated rush.
Employees can register themselves at the Cowin Portal (www.cowin.gov.in) and report to the convenient center, according to the official spokesperson of the division on Saturday.
