This emphatic win for Ramesh appears to be a continuation of the success enjoyed by the BJP and its alliance partners, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party (JSP), in the previous 2014 and 2019 elections. The constituency, which encompasses seven assembly segments within the Visakhapatnam district, has once again reposed its faith in the BJP-led coalition.

Anakapalli, a suburb of Visakhapatnam is a General category Lok Sabha seat in Andhra Pradesh. It is made up of 7 assembly constituencies which are situated in Visakhapatnam district.

The voting in Anakapalle for 2024 Lok sabha election was held on 13 May 2024 in the fourth phase.
