8 held for murder of rowdy-sheeter

Visakhapatnam: Malkapuram police arrested eight persons in connection with the murder of a rowdy-sheeter on Monday. The accused were residents of Malkapuram locality in Vizag city. DCP (Crimes), Vizag city, Gandam Naganna said that the victim, Hemanth Kumar, was addicted to ganja and liquor. He was arrested for being involved in crimes in the past. Hemanth Kumar along with friends had gone to a local festival near Malkapuram on September 18 and he was murdered during a fight with Uday Kumar and his men. The police nabbed all the accused in the case and they were sent to judicial remand. TNN
