7 arrested for murdering Vizag youth

Visakhapatnam: Vizag city police on Saturday arrested seven youngsters in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Rebaka Sai Teja, who was stabbed to death at Marripalem Railway Ground under Airport police station limits in Vizag city in the wee hours on Friday. Police said an old rivalry was the reason for the murder.
The arrested are Bangari Raju, Md Yusaf Khan, V Ravi Kumar, P Jayanth, B Mohan, S Suresh and Seepana Suresh, all aged between 20 and 24.One juvenile was involved in the crime and is still at large. The deceased was a Class X pass-out and made a living from photography and as an electrician.
Investigation into the case revealed that Sai Teja and his friend Nani had beaten Bangari Raju around three months ago at Mahata Colony in the city. Bangari Raju developed a grudge against Sai Teja. Raju, and along with his friends, decided to eliminate Sai Teja.
On May 27, Bangari Raju and seven others attacked Sai Teja and his friends with sharp-edged weapons.
