Vizag: 1 held, Rs 3.2 lakh recovered in AEPS cyber fraud case

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Vizag city police arrested a person in connection with a cyber fraud case in which the accused withdrew 3.2 lakh from the bank account of a Vizag-based man using Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS).The accused was identified as Balvinder Singh (35), a native of Firozpur in Punjab. The police recovered the stolen money from the possession of the accused.Police said one Amarjith Singh is the prime accused and Balvinder is the other accused. “Investigation is underway to nab the prime accused,” the police said. tnn
