1.66cr ryots registered with e-NAM

Visakhapatnam/New Delhi: At least 1.66 crore farmers in Andhra Pradesh have registered with the National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) platform, according to Union minister of agriculture and farmer welfare, Nagendra Singh Tomar.
The minister made the statement at the Rajya Sabha on Friday in response to a question raised by YSRC Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy.
“As per the information received from the government of Andhra Pradesh, there are 216 mandis in AP.Out of 216 mandis, 22 markets have been integrated with (the) e-NAM platform,” the Union agriculture minister said. tnn
