1.6 crore given for elderly care

Visakhapatnam: Karur Vysya Bank has extended financial support as a part of its CSR initiative to an integrated geriatric and palliative care facility in Visakhapatnam. A sum of 1.6 crore has been sanctioned to Sneha Sandhya Age Care Foundation towards construction of a block to care for the elderly and terminally ill patients. KVB CEO and MD B Ramesh Babu handed over a demand draft for a sum of 50 lakh to the trustees of the Sneha Sandhya Foundation.TNN
