Youth drowns in Varaha river

Visakhapatnam: A 20-year-old youth from Penugollu village in S Rayavaram mandal drowned in River Varaha. The youth, identified as P Charan, had ventured into the river following a village deity's jatara. He had participated in the celebration and later, ventured into the river for a holy dip along with his relatives. Locals found him in an unconscious state a few minutes later and shifted him to a Nakkapalli govt hospital. There, doctors declared him brought dead.TNN
