Guntur: Woman dead, Tollywood actor hurt in road accident

VIJAYAWADA: A 36-year-old woman died while Tollywood actor Sudhakar Komakula and his driver suffered minor injuries in a car accident at Chinnakakani area of Mangalagiri in NH 16, Guntur district. The accident took place on Saturday evening.
The deceased woman was identified as Jalasuthram Lakshmi. According to Mangalagiri rural police, Sudhakar was travelling from Vijayawada to Guntur when his driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a parked tractor and went over the median.Lakshmi, who was working on the median garden, was hit by the car and died on the spot.
Cops said Lakshmi suffered a fatal head injury and fractures. The actor and his driver were rushed to a hospital .
