Justice Ramana participated in the birth centenary celebrations of NTR at SV University and the inauguration of a special court for trial of cases related to red sanders.
Justice Ramana was with the TDP and loyal to the late NTR in the early days of the party, when he was an advocate in the high court. He was also considered by NTR for Nandigama assembly constituency in the 1994 elections.
While he said that NTR was a pride of the

Telugu

people, Justice Ramana also wanted global recognition and respect for NTR. He wanted every Telugu person to work to get global recognition to the late leader. Justice Ramana also said he would pen a book on the life of NTR and his association with him. He would take up work on the book after his retirement in August this year, he said.
