VIJAYAWADA: A secretariat woman constable committed
suicide
following alleged harassment at Satyanarayanapuram in
Vijayawada
on Monday. The deceased was identified as
Jalaja Kavitha
(34).
Kavitha is married to
Y Sangameshwar Rao
(36), who works as a medical representative. The couple were reportedly having frequent quarrels for the last two months over Sangameshwar '
illicit relationship
.' Later, they got separated, but reunited after reaching a compromise. However, Sangameshwar continued his illegal relationship. On Monday, after a heated argument, Sangameshwar left his home. An hour later, Kavitha sent him pictures of her trying to commit suicide. Later she hanged herself from the ceiling.
