Victory of Jagan is historical need to protect the rights of poor: YSRCP USA leader Deepa
VIJAYAWADA: YSRCP USA wing coordinator Deepa Nalipireddy has said that victory of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a historical need to protect the rights of the poor and marginalized sections. Deepa said that people should unite to thwart the attempts of the rival parties' false campaign against the state govt to protect the rights of the Dalits and weaker sections.
Deepa, the star campaigner of YSRCP in the United States of America, met the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his ongoing bus yatra in Nellore district. She explained various activities including a social media campaign launched by their wing to support YSRCP in the upcoming elections. She thanked the chief minister for giving her an opportunity to be a warrior of the party to protect the under-privileged sections. Chief minister complimented her attempts and asked her to continue the campaign.
Deepa is wife of state govt advisor of health, Dr Vasudeva Reddy Nalipireddy. Dr Vasu is a renowned medical professional settled in the USA but decided to join hands with the state govt to strengthen the healthcare sector after seeing the innovative and courageous initiatives of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Floored by the wonderful activities of the healthcare sector in the state in the last five years particularly during covid, Deepa too has decided to jump into the party activities. Speaking to the media, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy govt is the only govt in the country that took healthcare to the doorsteps of the people.
She said that the family physician concept was not being implemented anywhere in the country. She said that doctors visiting people at regular intervals is not only saving millions of lives but also improving the overall economic growth. She said that reducing the costs of healthcare is nothing but improving the incomes of the poor.
She said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy govt had disbursed nearly Rs.2.7 lakh crore to the poor and eligible people in the last five years. Deepa said that Jagan took the entire administration closer to the people through the village/ward secretariat system.
