VIJAYAWADA

: Unidentified persons attempted to kill two restaurant owners here late on Monday night. One of the victims lodged a complaint with Penamaluru police accusing his former partner.

According to police, a restaurant was started by three partners - Narendra, Manohar, and Venkateshwara Rao. while the business was going on well for some time, of late, there were clashes between the partners. Narendra alleged that Manohar cheated him to the tune of 15 crore in business and threatened to remove the trademark of the hotel.

As Narendra was not ready to listen to Manohar, the latter threatened Narendra several times with dire consequences. In this backdrop, Manohar tried to kill him on Monday, Narendra stated in his complaint to the police.

were returning to their homes after closing the hotel, a few unidentified persons attacked them with beer bottles. Narendra managed to escape but Venkateshwara Rao was severely injured. Police registered a case and started investigation.
