Andhra Pradesh: Two held with 4 kg ganja in Prakasam

VIJAYAWADA: Prakasam district police nabbed two youngsters and seized 4 kg of ganja from their possession on Thursday. The accused were identified as

Itla Pavan Kumar

(19), a student of nursing, and

Bhavanam Sai Krishna Reddy

(21), a B.Tech final year student.

According to police, the accused are addicted to marijuana. Pavan has been staying in Sai Krishna Reddy’s room. They bought marijuana from unknown individuals in Ongole. Due to high demand, they hatched a plan to buy marijuana and keep some amount for their consumption and sell the rest to students at a higher price.

They met Srikanth, a friend of Pavan, who has links with the peddlers’ racket. Pavan and Srikanth went to Vizag and from there to a hilly area near Chodavaram and bought about 4 kilos of ganja and came back to
