Visakhapatnam:
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced a streamlined process for offline allocation of Srivani darshan tickets to make the process more convenient for devotees. TTD additional executive officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary inaugurated a new counter for Srivani darshan tickets at the backside of Gokulam conference hall on Wednesday.
The additional EO performed special pujas at the new counter and personally allotted the first Srivani darshan ticket, taking details of the devotee himself. Chowdary explained that the decision to open new counters came after feedback indicated that devotees were facing difficulties, particularly during rainy season, when queues at the old Srivani ticket counter often became congested.
"This new system will make it easier for devotees to obtain their Srivani darshan tickets without facing long waits or weather-related discomfort. We are now allotting 900 tickets offline per day. The new application process has been simplified to such an extent that we can issue tickets to devotees within one minute, compared to the previous wait of three to four minutes," he said.
