Transport firm clerk rapes degree student
VIJAYAWADA
: A clerical assistant in a transport company allegedly raped a final year BCom student at Bhavanipuram in the city. The incident came to light on Thursday when the victim filed a complaint at Bhavanipuram police station.clerk

has been in a relationship with the woman for the last two years and physically exploiting her by promising to marry her. Upon receiving the complaint, a case was filed against him. Police launched a manhunt to nab the accused.Assistant commissioner of police (west zone) G Ramakrishna, who is investigating the case, said that they are investigating the case from all angles and added that they will arrest Chandrasekhar soon.
The victim claimed that she met Chandrasekhar two years ago and had promised to marry her soon and began sexually exploiting her. “Suddenly, he began to ignore my calls and stopped having any contact with me,” she said.
He threatened her with dire consequences if she decided to reveal the matter, she added.
