Traffic restrictions on Beach Road for ICP in Vizag
Visakhapatnam: The city police have announced traffic restrictions along the Beach Road stretch to ensure the smooth conduct of the International City Parade (ICP-2026), part of the International Fleet Review, scheduled at RK Beach on Feb 19. Security personnel have been deployed from YMCA to Naval Coastal Battery as a large number of VIPs are expected to attend.Rehearsals for the ICP will be held on Feb 17, followed by a full-dress rehearsal on February 18. During these days, the Beach Road towards the sea will be reserved for parade activities from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., with vehicles diverted at RK Beach NTR Circle and Park Hotel Junction. Visitors planning to access RK Beach are advised to arrive after 6 pm, police said.

On Feb 18 and 19, extensive road closures will be in effect from 1 pm to 9 pm. Vehicles without passes will not be permitted from Collectorate Junction to Naval Coastal Battery, CR Reddy Circle via All India Radio Junction to NTR Statue, and several other key routes including Park Hotel Junction to NTR Statue Beach Road.General motorists without passes must park at designated locations, including MGM Ground, Andhra University Samatha Hostel Ground, Zilla Parishad premises, and Andhra Medical College Cricket Ground, depending on their direction of travel, to witness the parade.
