Tirupati: YSRCP leader N Padmaja assumes charge as chairperson of TSCCL

TIRUPATI: YSR Congress party functionary N Padmaja assumed charge as the chairperson of the prestigious Tirupati Smart City Corporation Limited (TSCCL) in the temple city on Wednesday.
She was nominated to the post by the state government of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to reporters after assuming charge at the Tirupati municipal corporation office in the presence of municipal commissioner PS Girisha IAS, Tirupati MP Dr M Gurumoorthy, MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, mayor Dr R Sireesha and corporators, TSCCL chairperson thanked chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for nominating her to the prestigious post.
"Tirupati is one of the best upcoming smart cities in the country where several exciting infra and development projects are underway. I will strive my best to speed up the development works underway already and those works which are still in the pipeline as well. TSCCL's first priority will be to complete the Srinivasa Sethu elevated expressway project which is being grounded at a cost of Rs.550 crore with the support from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams," asserted N Padmaja.
