Three held for robbing elderly woman of gold jewellery

Visakhapatnam: Kasibugga police of Srikakulam district arrested three persons for robbing a 65-year-old woman at knifepoint. The arrested persons have been identified as B Pradeep (19), R Kiran Kumar (36) and P Ranjith (39). The cops said on March 12, the victim identified as D Yasodha was travelling from Palasa to her home in Kalinga Kosangipuram when she was robbed of her gold ornaments. Pradeep allegedly offered to give her a ride on his scooter and later, took her to an isolated area and robbed her.TNN
