Vijayawada: Telangana minister Tummala Nageswara Rao called on chief minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday to discuss various pending bifurcation issues. He sought cooperation from Naidu to resolve border issues, especially in Polavaram submergence mandals. Andhra Pradesh after the 7 Polavaram submergence mandals were annexed to AP.
Rao also requested pro-rata cost sharing of Pedda Vagu project repair works, as the majority of the land under irrigation is in Andhra Pradesh. He asked Naidu to bear 85% of the estimated cost of Rs 92.2 crore.
