TANA clears all legal hurdles

Vijayawada: Ahead of its 23rd convention, TANA has cleared all its legal hurdles.
While the Maryland circuit court dismissed the petition filed on voting rights, the arbitrator also gave a final award in the same issue.
Arbitrator Sally D Adkins also gave the final award in favour of TANA and directed the claimants to pay $1,90,700 to TANA towards attorney fee.
The arbitrator considered both TANA and the claimants as partial prevailing parties and awarded the costs accordingly but as the final award is in favour of TANA, Krishna Gudipati and others have to pay around $1,70,000 to TANA. Another class action suit filed for giving voting rights to all, which is pending before another arbitrator, has been withdrawn by the claimants. TNN
