VIJAYAWADA: It is said love makes the world go around. And, in this case, a woman has flown all round the world (from Texas in US to Nellore in AP) to her soulmate to marry him.
After losing everything in a wildfire and experiencing personal setbacks in 2021, the woman from Texas found the love of her life, some 14,800 km away in a remote village in
Andhra Pradesh.
The relationship started with a simple 'Hi' on
Instagram and turned to love, which she described as an "intricately woven tapestry". The man is nine years younger to her.
Jaclyn Forero, a user generated creator and brand photographer, was married but separated from her husband after losing everything she owned to a wildfire.
She described the years following the wildfire as "some of the hardest" in her life.
In a video posted on YouTube, Jaclyn, a Christian, said she prayed to God to help her overcome loneliness. Nothing worked out for years till she met Chandan on her Instagram page.
Chandan, from Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, is also a practising Christian and has knowledge of theology. Additionally, he is also a photographer interested in music and art, sharing many interests with Jaclyn.
