Vijayawada: SI Pilli Sravani dies during treatment

: Sub-inspector Pilli Sravani (35), who attempted to kill herself by consuming pesticide, died in a private hospital at Guntur on Wednesday while undergoing

treatment

. Sravani had consumed
pesticide along with constable Ravindra on Saturday. They were shifted to Guntur for better treatment.

Despite the doctor’s best efforts, Sravani died on Wednesday morning. Ravindra is said to be in critical condition.
