Show-cause notice to 7 civic officials

Tirupati: The tussle between Kadapa mayor (from YSRCP) Suresh Babu and TDP legislator R Madhavi Reddy seems to be worsening with each passing day as the mayor fired a fresh salvo in the form of show-cause notices to municipal commissioner and six other staff. It may be recalled that chaos sparked during the civic body meet held at the corporation office a couple of days ago as Suresh Babu and Madhavi Reddy once again locked horns over seating arrangements in the open. While Suresh Babu went ahead with the meeting at his chambers instead of holding it at the conference hall, municipal commissioner and some other civic staff reportedly distanced themselves from the meeting. The mayor sought explanation from them as to why they absented themselves from the important proceedings held on Friday.
