VIJAYAWADA: Rishi Siddhartha Reddy of Andhra Pradesh defeated Aryanth Reddy of Telangana 6-4 , 7-6 in the U-18 boys singles final to to clinch the title in the AITA Championship series tennis tournament at Rajesh tennis academy, Kakinada on Saturday. In the girls final, Lukshitha Gopinath (TN) beat Sama Chevika Reddy (TS ) 6-2, 6-0 . Repaka Anoop presented the trophies to the winners. Tournament director K Rajesh was present.
10 NTR stadium players in state team Ten players of NTR Municipal Stadium have been selected to represent Guntur district in the SAAP AP inter- district tennis championship to be held at B R Stadium, Guntur. Chakuri Keerthi, commissioner, K Manohar Naidu, mayor, GMC, MLC L Appireddy congratulated the players.
