Restore law and order, Naidu writes to PM, President
Vijayawada: Former chief minister and opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter to the President of India and Prime Minister, alleging that ‘malgovernance’ of the chief minister with ‘unsound mind’ is affecting the state adversely.Naidu requested the Prime Minister and the President of India to exercise their special powers to restore rule of law and law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh. He sought for a fair probe with Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into Punganur and Angallu incidents as victims are being booked as accused under attempt to murder cases. Naidu attached 75-page annexure with details of 777 incidents happened in last four years.Starting with the demolition of Praja Vedhika and discontinuation of development works in Amaravati, Naidu explained the various incidents happened during the last four years till the recent violent incidents at Angallu and Punganur in the combined Chittoor district. In his 10-page, strongly-worded letter, Naidu justified his allegation of unsound mind of chief minister by stating how the verdicts of constitutional courts are being circumvented by dubious means. No other state spent crores of public money on frivolous litigation going against public interest, which is indicative of his unsound mind, he said. The attacks were unleashed against judiciary and the judges of the highest courts in the country. It was so rampant that the high court had to take suo moto cognizance of the issue and order a CBI inquiry. However, even after the CBI probe initiated, the YSRC government stood firmly behind the miscreants, he stated. The attempts of the CM to undermine electoral processes in local body elections, terrorising employees engaged in enrolment of voters and involving volunteers in data collection and using personal data to blackmail at the time of elections show how the democratic processes are being undermined, stated Naidu.

When an economic offender who was put behind bars on serious chatges of forgery, fabrication, fraud and who amassed wealth at the expense of the people who would have dreamed of better governance except people who are biased on grounds of caste . The A.P. state is in utter chaos where the innocents are booked and petetioners are in prison while culprits are provided with full police protection and roam about freely with impunity. A.P. has emerged as the Bihar of South India where no investor would risk investing in a state where mentally unsound brains are at the helm. The central government headed by Modi and Shah know pretty well what's going on in A.P. but turn a Nelson's eye as they look at everything from the prism of electoral advantage and are interested only in settling political scores at the expense of national interests. Really a sad state of affairs. Read allPost comment
