According to Nandyal II town police, O Chandrasekhar Reddy, a cable TV operator, had approached one Peddanna at his residence in NGO’s colony and asked him to settle the previous month’s cable bill before 10pm on Saturday.

Enraged with Chandrasekhar Reddy’s demands, Peddanna stabbed him. Reddy raised an alarm following which locals came to his rescue. He was subsequently shifted to the local government hospital for treatment.

Following a complaint lodged, Nandyal II town police arrested the accused Pedannna against whom an attempt to murder case was booked.
