Pawan Kalyan releases constituency-wise booklets showcasing development works
Vijayawada: Deputy chief minister K Pawan Kalyan called for unity and the continuation of NDA alliance partners for the benefit of the state. He said the state is slowly recovering from the damage done by the previous YSRCP regime. He said the continuation of the NDA govt for at least 15 years is necessary for the state to come out of its problems.The deputy chief minister urged the MLAs to highlight the good work done by the NDA govt in the last 20 months to put the state back on the developmental track. He said the opposition, with just 11 members, is making noise equivalent to that of 1100, but the NDA partners, despite having 164 MLAs, could not showcase the work done by the govt.

Unveiling a new tradition, Pawan released constituency-wise booklets detailing works taken up under the ministries he is holding—Panchayat Raj–Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and Forest & Environment departments. He distributed the booklets to the Speaker, ministers, and MLAs in the Assembly. The first copy was handed over to Speaker Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu.Pawan explained the quantum of works taken up in Narsipatnam, Tenali, and Kuppam constituencies represented by Speaker Ayyannapatrudu, civil supplies minister Nadendla Manohar, and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, respectively.
The booklets also document works in the 11 constituencies won by the YSRCP. The list of cement and BT roads, mini cattle shelters, farm ponds, and drinking water schemes taken up under MGNREGS, Jal Jeevan Mission, and other programmes was included in the booklets, along with finance commission grants released to individual panchayats.Pawan Kalyan said allocations were made across constituencies irrespective of party affiliation under the coalition govt. He noted that soon after assuming office, gram sabhas were held in 13,326 panchayats to finalise development resolutions.
