Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, India's biggest Hindu temples conglomerate, which has 66 temples all over India, is all set to bring the surveillance of all its temples under the purview of a new integrated command control centre, to be set up at the TTD's administrative headquarters in Tirupati soon.
While there already exists a dedicated integrated command control centre networked with 3000 plus CCTV surveillance cameras installed at Tirumala, this is the first time that the TTD will bring all its 66 temples located across the country under the surveillance network of an integrated command control centre.

Not only the 66 temples, but also other major TTD assets and properties, including hospitals, educational institutions, hostels, marketing godowns, etc, established by the Tirupati trust all over India, will be brought under the surveillance of this new command control centre.
The TTD trust board, headed by Chairman BR Naidu, recently allocated a sum of Rs 10.75 crore for the establishment of the new command control centre at the TTD administrative building premises.
The funds allocated will be spent on the construction of a state-of-the-art integrated command control centre at the TTD administration building premises in Tirupati.
TTD's chief vigilance and security officer K V Murali Krishna and additional CVSIO TV Siva Kumar Reddy held a series of discussions with security experts from across India to put the best surveillance mechanisms in place at the proposed integrated command control centre.
As part of the project, key TTD assets, including 66 temples all over India, 33 schools and colleges, and 25 hostels managed by the TTD, 10 medical institutions including Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences and Balaji Institute of Research and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, etc, and 31 other establishments of the TTD including marketing godowns, Goshala, etc, will all come under the surveillance purview of the command control centre.
TTD sources further stated that nearly 3500 CCTV surveillance cameras will be installed and integrated with the proposed command control centre to ensure round-the-clock surveillance of all TTD assets across the country.
